Master CSV files provide the essential static Inventory information.
To effectively manage this data, please familiarise yourself with the roomsMaster and hotelsMaster files.
The setup files (hotels, rateplans, rooms, policies, taxes, offers) reference entries declared in the master files. Always upload hotelsMaster and roomsMaster before the corresponding setup files. See the Set Up overview for the full recommended upload order.
📄️ Hotels
This document outlines the structure and required fields for two types of master hotel records represented in CSV files: (1) new hotels native to the Channel Manager and (2) new hotels with a Travelgate inventory code.
📄️ Rooms
The Rooms Master file is designed to facilitate the creation of new master entries for rooms within the Travelgate platform. This file is essential as it defines unique master codes for each room, which are required when managing room-specific data.
